How To Get A Library Card
Library cards are FREE to all Scott County residents and property owners
Create an online account at evergreen.lib.in.us with your library card number & password.
Search our catalog. You can place item holds. View checked-out items, due dates, and page fines.
You will need a valid Photo-ID (driver’s license, identification card, passport) AND proof of address, which may include:
- Property tax receipt
- mail (sent in the last 30 days)
- current Bank Statement
- car registration
- phone, credit card or other utility form.
A Parent/Legal Guardian must apply for residents under 18 years old; the Child/Teen must be present at the time of registration.
You are responsible for all materials checked out on your library card. All library materials borrowed are FREE; however, late fees are imposed if items are not returned or renewed on time.
A valid library card or digital replica must be presented upon checkout out of materials
Renew to Avoid Late Fees
Items can be renewed up to 2 times if no one has placed a hold on that item. Renew via your online account, in person or by calling your library.
